1. Bookings should be made by phone or email. Any telephone bookings must be confirmed in writing within five days.
2. At least one person in the party must be over 18 years of age.
3. A deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking. Full payment of the balance of the total cost of the holiday must be received two weeks before the hiring is due to start.
4. If a holiday is booked within two weeks of the due start of the hiring, full payment of the total cost of the holiday must be received at the time of booking.
5. Payment may be made by sending a cheque or by paying by credit or debit card over the phone by calling 01437 891459.
Our obligations:
6. To provide the holiday property in a reasonable state of repair and condition furnished and equipped to a fair and proper standard and in reasonable accordance with the description of the property:
7. To take reasonable steps to address properly and rectify as quickly as possible any problems which arise with the property during the hiring.
Your obligations:
8. To leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. In particular that the kitchen and all equipment and utensils and the bathroom are left clean and tidy.
9. To pay for any damage or breakages at the property and to the contents before departure;
10. To permit the owners reasonable access to examine any matter of complaint raised during the hiring and to attend to any resulting repair or rectification or other urgent maintenance;
11. Not to share the property with anyone not nominated in the booking form or to sublet the property or assign the booking to anyone else;
12. Not to exceed the maximum number of persons stated to be allowed to occupy the property.
Your comfort:
13. For the comfort of all our guests we don't allow pets in The Old School and we request you refrain from smoking when inside the property.
Cancellation:
14. Please give one months notice if you wish to cancel your holiday. In the event of you wishing to cancel the holiday we will make every reasonable effort to relet the property and if successful refund your payment less any costs incurred. If the property cannot be relet any monies already paid by the you will be forfeited.
15. Please note that all properties hired must be vacated by 10.30am on the morning of departure and are not available for occupation before 4.00pm on the date the holiday is due to start.
